
Calling all National Anthem Hopefuls

Oklahoma City, OK. - With baseball season only one month away it is time for the Oklahoma City RedHawks' annual National Anthem auditions. Auditions will be held this Friday, March 5 from 3 - 6 pm and Saturday, March 6 from 9 am - noon at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. RedHawks welcome special guest, Thaddeus Johnson, from American Idol to the panel of judges along with faculty from ACM@UCO.
Singers and instrumentalists of all ages are welcome to audition. Singers must perform without musical accompaniment. Participants may audition solo or in groups. All participants will be asked to perform a portion of the National Anthem to a panel of preliminary judges and if selected to continue, participants will receive a pass to perform the entire National Anthem on the field to a final panel of judges.
Entrance to the stadium for auditions will be available through the Cool Zone located directly below Coach's Restaurant on Mickey Mantle Drive. For more information or questions about auditioning please refer to our website - www.okcredhawks.com.
Oklahoma City RedHawks open the season at home on April 8 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark as the RedHawks take on the Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:05 pm.
