Round Rock Express News Release

Round Rock Express fans will get a chance to take the field to bat and play catch at The Dell Diamond on Saturday, March 6. A vintage baseball game and Fan Spring Training highlight this season's Express Open House. Free admission and free parking is available to the fans.

The Round Rock ISD kicks off the day's events at 8 a.m. CT at The Dell Diamond with their sixth annual Project Graduation Run/Walk 5K to raise money for all four Round Rock high schools and their graduating seniors.

Free activities at the ballpark also include the Mustang Owner's Club of Austin Car Display (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), Children's Health Festival in the United Heritage Center (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), a scavenger hunt and home clubhouse self-guided tours. The vintage baseball game starts at 11 a.m. and matches media members against the Montgomery Saw Dogs.

Fans can field and bat on the field following the baseball game from noon to 4 p.m. Spike, the Express mascot, will make an appearance as kids can sign up to be a part of Spike's Kids' Club. The Railyard will have a sale on Express apparel while raffling merchandise.
