California Buzz makes change to name

Maywood Buzz News Release


Los Angeles, CA - California Buzz General Manager and Head Coach Burrel Lee III was excited when he made this announcement. "We over here with the Buzz thought that since we would be staying and playing in Orange County, then why are we called the California Buzz. We are happy to say that we are dropping the word California and changing the team name to the Orange County Buzz" Lee stated.

The Orange County Buzz will play it's first game tomorrow at 4pm vs. Lee's old team the Los Angeles Stars. Lee says "We am looking forward to the game not because it is LA and my former players, but it is our first game together and we have been practicing for a week and a have and can use a game." The OC Buzz we will be without it's marquee player Cedric Ceballos who is on the road doing TV work with the Phoenix Suns of the NBA.

The OC Buzz will play it's first home game in Orange County in February. Home venue will be announced this coming week.
