Terrance Vanlier's tip in with no time remaining led the Rhythm to a 96-94 victory over the Kansas City Knights. Despite an early 20 point deficit the Rhythm clawed back behind Matt Freije's 30 points and 9 rebounds to secure the victory. Garrett Richardson (17), Marcus Williams (15), and Kyle Gribble (14) all scored in double figures for the Rhythm. The Rhythm held reigning ABA MVP, Joe Crispin, to 7 points.
