The 14-game regular-season slate begins at McMahon Stadium on Aug. 7 with the Toronto Argonauts providing the opposition and concludes on Nov. 20 when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers come to Calgary.

"I'm so pleased for everyone who enjoys the game of football," said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. "We're all very excited to get started with the season and we can't wait to see our great fans back in the stands at McMahon Stadium."

John Hufnagel will be available on a Zoom video conference call at 1 p.m. MDT today. Email Jean Lefebvre at jlefebvre@stampeders.com to request connection details.

The Stamps' home schedule also features the traditional Labour Day Classic against Edmonton as well as two visits by the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The Stampeders Ticket Office will be in contact with season-ticket members in the coming days and weeks as plans for fans attending games take shape in accordance with guidelines established by Province of Alberta public health officials.

The 2021 campaign will be the 75th in franchise history. The Stampeders were born in 1945 when the Western Interprovincial Football Union held playoffs after the league had suspended operations during World War II. Calgary's first regular season took place in 1946.
