Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks announced today that they will host the 2012 NLL West Division Semi-Final on Saturday, May 5, 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome against an opponent yet to be determined. Post-season tickets will go on sale to the public Tuesday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. Playoff tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster and Calgary Safeway locations, the Scotiabank Saddledome box office, online at www.ticketmaster.ca or by phone at 1-855-985-5000.

Calgary's 13-11 victory over the Washington Stealth last weekend secured the Roughnecks Round 1 home floor advantage for the fifth time in 11 seasons. Since missing the playoffs in their inaugural campaign in 2002, the Roughnecks have advanced to the post-season for 10 straight years, earning two NLL championships (2004 and 2009).

"As a group you work through the regular season to gain home turf advantage in the playoffs," said Calgary Roughnecks General Manager Mike Board. "In the NLL's single elimination playoff format, playing in your building in front of your fans is a huge advantage. We have great fans that are loud and supportive. Our players have been focused and committed all season and we want to continue to improve over the remainder of the regular-season to build momentum heading into the playoffs."

The Roughnecks (10-3) play their last regular-season home game on Friday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m. when they welcome the Rochester Knighthawks (5-7). Join the Riggers in the Rough House this Friday for a Bermuda Shorts Party and an opportunity to win a trip for two to Bermuda.
