CALGARY, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks (3-3) head to Washington (6-1) this Friday to face-off against the Stealth. The game starts at 9 p.m. MST at the Comcast Arena in Everett, Wash.

"We are literally jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire this Friday night against the Stealth," said Roughnecks' Head Coach Dave Pym.

"They continue to be a dominant team that has a very dangerous dynamic offense, a defence that run the floor as well as anyone in this league and are getting solid stops from (Matt) Roik and (Tyler) Richards."

The Riggers are seeking revenge after falling short to the Stealth 16-15 on Jan. 23rd at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Craig Conn and Josh Sanderson each fired four goals and added three assists for the Roughnecks that game. The team fought back from 2-0 and 6-1 deficits in the first quarter to keep Rigger fans on the edge of their seats.

"They are the front runners in our division, and we need to win this game to even our season series," added Pym.

Over the past seven seasons, the Roughnecks have compiled a 9-8 record against the Stealth (3-5 at home, 6-3 on the road). Last year, the Riggers opened their 2009 campaign with a 12-10 victory in San Jose (formerly home to the Stealth) on Jan. 9th before also winning the rematch 16-13 on Jan. 24th in Calgary.

The Roughnecks also have a 2-0 record against the Stealth in the post-season, including a convincing 17-5 triumph in Calgary last May 9th which propelled the Riggers into the NLL Final against the New York Titans (now the Orlando Titans).

Friday night's game will be broadcast live on www.nll.com. For game notes and more information, visit www.calgaryroughnecks.com.
