Calgary Hitmen Training Camp Report Day 2

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen 2011 Main Camp is nearing its final stages with just one intra-squad game on Tuesday following a couple of morning practices and a goalie session at Don Hartman North East Sportsplex (5206-68th Street NE).

The afternoon intra-squad game saw Team Black post a 9-3 win over Team White. Justin Kirsch had four goals in the win while Nathan MacMaster chipped in three assists for Team Black. Goaltender Gage Murray also had a strong performance for Team Black stopping all 25 shots in just over 30 minutes of work.

Chase Clayton had a pair of goals for Team White in the loss.

There are now 52 players remaining in camp with the annual Team Black vs. Team White Hitmen Intra-Squad Game set for tomorrow. Game time is 11:00 a.m.

The game is open to the public with no admission charge.

Free rosters will also be available at the arena.

The Hitmen will begin their six game pre-season schedule this weekend with a pair of games at the Edmonton pre-season tournament taking on Medicine Hat Sunday afternoon and the Prince George Cougars Monday morning.
