Due to the popularity of the special Buy A Group, Get A Group FREE promotion for Opening Night, the Seattle Thunderbirds have extended the deadline for this offer to Tuesday September 6.
Thanks to following groups who ordered their tickets earlier this week and will be joining us for Opening Night against Portland on September 24: American Red Cross, Boeing Payroll, Benny's Hockey Nuts, Converge, CWU Student Government, Events and Adventures, Friends of Erica and I Guess Eric too, Friends of Jeff, Friends of Michelle & Jered, FSA, Grandma's Treat - Family & Friends, Herring Family & Friends, Jessica Spicknell Going Away Party, Kent Station Family Dentistry, Lesmeister Family, Marty's Burien Chevrolet Group, Pacific Power Products, Patricelli Group, Staples - Kent, Susan & Friends, Tagart's Gang, The Coday "Family", Wreckin Crew, Zillow.
"We've had a busy month of group sales during August" said Assistant Director of Operations Joey Ravotti "This will give our fans and group leaders that have not taken advantage of this promotion one last weekend to put together their group for opening night against Portland".
Fans who purchase a minimum of 20 tickets for the home opener, will also receive the same number of tickets for any non-Saturday game before December 17. To take advantage of the group offer contact the Thunderbirds at 253-239-7825. This offer expires on September 6.
The T-Birds home opener is Saturday, September 24, against the Portland Winterhawks at 7:05 p.m. at ShoWare Center. Opening Night will feature a Party on the Plaza at ShoWare Center before the game that will feature food, music, and a beer garden. The T-Birds will also be giving out 2011-12 magnetic schedules courtesy of Beacon Plumbing to all fans on Opening Night.
The T-Birds would also like to remind fans that season tickets are on sale. Season tickets in the Club Section have been lowered to $975 for the 2011/12 season, a 25% decrease from the 2010/11 season. Also on sale for $468 is the popular 24-Flex plan. The 24-Flex allows fans to redeem their 24 vouchers in any quantity for any game.
