Calendar: Wings Host Full Weekend at the Odde
March 25, 2022 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Aberdeen Wings News Release
The final week of March is a big one for the Aberdeen Wings.
Not only are the Wings still in hot contention for a playoff spot in a very tight Central Division, the weekend brings plenty of action off the ice, too.
The Wings (28-20-2-2) currently sit in second place in the division, holding onto 60 league points after 52 games. The visiting Austin Bruins (26-22-2-3) sit right behind the Wings in third with 57 league points after 53 games played.
The Wings were the only team in the division to earn a weekend sweep last weekend, while the Bruins earned a split with the top-ranked St. Cloud Norsemen. Aberdeen is looking at a possible 16 more points to grab in their eight remaining regular season games; the Bruins, who have played one more game so far this season, can snag up to 14 more points en route to a playoff position.
On Friday, the Wings will host First Responders night - any first responder can receive a $5 general admission ticket at the door. We also welcome Dakota Broadcasting as the game's corporate sponsor inside the AutoMaxx Party Deck. Fans are invited to join the team at Buffalo Wings & Rings after the game for a post-game party.
Saturday's game features our annual Yelduz Shrine Teddy Bear Toss! We'll also he hosting our final jersey action of the season immediately following the game - fans can bid on game-worn jerseys that they can take home after the season concludes. We welcome the Shriners as the game's corporate sponsor inside the AutoMaxx Party Deck.
The busy weekend continues on Sunday with our annual Awards Banquet. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner starting a 6 p.m. and awards to follow.
The doors open at the Odde Ice Center at 5:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, with the puck hitting the ice at 7:15 p.m. Fans can get tickets to this weekend's games online at tickets.AberdeenWings.com. $10 general admission tickets can also be purchased at any C-Express location in Aberdeen, with additional purchase.
