Milwaukee Wave News Release

HOME OPENER SATURDAY AT UW-MILWAUKEE PANTHER ARENA!

Your Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave travel to Iowa to take on the Cedar Rapids Rampage Friday night. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:05pm from US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Last week, the Wave spoiled Baltimore's championship celebration with an exciting 4-3 win over the Blast at Royal Farms Arena. Then, they headed to Harrisburg and suffered a heartbreaking 6-5 overtime loss to the Heat.

"We have a great young team that continues to grow together each and every day," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We like what we're seeing on the field and we are ready to go for the weekend."

After playing in Iowa Friday night, the Wave will travel back to Milwaukee for Saturday's 6:05pm Home Opener at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena against the rival Kansas City Comets.

"We're very excited for the home opener," said Oliviero. "We have the most passionate fans and the support that we get from them year after year really does make a difference, especially when we face a nemesis like the Comets."

Tickets are still available for Saturday Night's home opener at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Box Office or online at MilwaukeeWave.com
