Milwaukee Wave News Release
The 7-time Champion Milwaukee Wave kicked off the Major Arena Soccer League regular season last week on the road with a win over the St. Louis Ambush.
Saturday night, they play their first game of the 2019/2020 season at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena and welcome the Florida Tropics.
"Our first game certainly wasn't our best and because of that the guys have been working really hard this week," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "We are looking forward to playing in front of our amazing fans and celebrating last years accomplishments but it's all hands on deck after that with our eyes on the prize again."
Kick off is scheduled for 7:07pm from UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Be sure to arrive early and witness history with a very special championship celebration. We'll unveil another banner from the rafters and present championship rings to the team.
Immediately after Saturday's game, the team will meet fans for a free 15-minute postgame autograph session on the Wave's legendary black turf.
Right after that, the guys will shower, change and hop on a bus for St. Louis to take on the Ambush Sunday afternoon, 5:05pm CST at The Family Arena.
Tickets for Saturday's game are available at MilwaukeeWave.com or at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Box Office.
