Grand Prairie AirHogs News Release
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- With last Wednesday's rainout at QuikTrip Park against Laredo, the Grand Prairie AirHogs are set to host a seven-game homestand in just five days next week, with two doubleheaders, a Summer Camp Day game, and a few special events.
The week kicks off on Monday, June 11, at 6:05 p.m. with a doubleheader against the Lemurs, including the makeup game from earlier this week. Both games that day will be scheduled for seven innings. The AirHogs will honor "School's out for summer (almost!) week," with all GPISD students, teachers and staff getting free tickets and $5 tickets for anyone accompanying them during that doubleheader.
On Tuesday, the game starts at 7:05 against Laredo, but at 2:30, QuikTrip Park will be open for an education fair, put on by the North Texas Collegiate Consortium. The fair is free, and all prospective students attending will get a free ticket to that night's game. Confirmed schools who will be at the fair are:

The homestand concludes with Friday's 7:05 p.m. start for the annual Negro League Tribute Night, presented by Jim Austin Online. The AirHogs and Bears will dress in Negro League-style uniforms of the Texas Black Spiders and Newark Eagles, and the shirts both teams wear that night will be raffled off for free after the game in the usual "Shirts off our Backs" style.
That night, fans will also be entered to win a free replica baseball bat from Dinger Bats, which will be autographed by the entire AirHogs roster.
