EVANSVILLE, IN - The Birmingham Bulls defeat Evansville 3-0 on the road at the Ford Center and sweep the Thunderbolts 8-0 on the season.
This completes the Bulls 3rd season series sweep which also includes number 1 ranked Peoria (3-0) and Quad City (5-0). Birmingham currently leads the series with Fayetteville 2-0 and will play the 2 remain games versus the Marksmen on March 29 and 30 in Pelham.
Josh Harris scored his 24th goal of the season and leads the SPHL in goals. Mavric Parks records his 28th win of the season with 33 saves in his 5th shut out on the year.
The Birmingham Bulls record improves to 36-14-2 on the season while remaining in second place in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) standings and are 4 wins away from the SPHL regular season wins record with 4 games remaining to play in the regular season.
