Amarillo Bulls News Release
The Amarillo Bulls were up early this (Saturday) morning helping out in a terrific community event.
Bulls players and staff attended the Susan G Komen Race For The Cure in downtown Amarillo. Coupons were handed out to local families as they gathered and prepared for the walk on Polk Street. The Race For The Cure had more than 5,000 registrants alone for the event in Amarillo.
In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Amarillo Bulls will be having a very special event on Saturday, Oct. 19 as part of their game versus the Corpus Christi IceRays. Full details of activities planned for that night will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Amarillo Bulls look for their second straight victory tonight as they host the Odessa Jackalopes at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. It's Championship Celebration Night with three banners being unveiled and the Robertson Cup brought onto the ice. Tickets are available at the Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets. For further information on Group Rates, Season Ticket plans or Corporate Marketing Partnerships, please call the Bulls Office at 806-242-112.
Fans can tune into the game live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV courtesy of Fast Hockey beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm-Up Show at 6:45 pm. Denis J. Puska has all of the hard hitting action at 7 pm.
