Bulls Look To Retake Second Tonight Versus Wichita Falls

AMARILLO, TX - Retaking second place and getting back into the win column will be on the minds of the Amarillo Bulls tonight (Wednesday) as they visit the Wichita Falls Wildcats at 7 pm at Kay Yeager Coliseum.

The Bulls fell one point back into third place in the NAHL's South Division on Tuesday night when the Texas Tornado beat the Wichita Falls Wildcats 6-1 in Frisco. That was the make-up game that was rescheduled due to a snow storm in the Dallas area back in early February.

It is the 10th and final meeting of the regular season between the Bulls and the Wildcats. Forwards Cody Freeman, Zack Smoot and Michael Erickson have combined for 16 goals and goaltender Nikifor Szczerba has yet to lose in regulation (4-0-2) versus Wichita Fallls. Amarillo enters the game following back-to-back losses to the Topeka RoadRunners, but with great success lately away from home with no losses in their last eight games.

Fans can tune into the action live on ESPN1440 and www.amarillobulls.com beginning with the Bulls Warm Up Show Presented By Wayland Baptist University at 6:45 pm. Denis J. Puska has the play- by-play action at 7 pm. Tonight's game is also available on Pay-Per-View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.

Hockey is back at The Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center when the Bulls host the Corpus Christi IceRays in a pair of games this weekend. On Saturday at 7 pm, it's Noche de Torno's/Hispanic Night and fans can get $5 tickets at LaFrontera Restaurant located on South Arthur Street. For those looking for 20 or more tickets please call the Bulls office at 806-242-122. On Sunday at 6 pm, it's Family Frenzy Night and for just $40 fans can get four (4) tickets and four hotdogs.
