
Bulls Alumni Update - Taking It Outdoors

AMARILLO, TX - John Rey, Brady Ferguson, Greg Gibson and Tim Moore had an opportunity to play an outdoor game with Robert Morris University this past weekend. The Colonials took on Bowling Green State University at Fifth Third Field in Toledo Ohio as part of Winterfest activities.
Gibson and Ferguson each scored as the Colonials and Bowling Green State played to a 2-2 tie.
Meantime Merrimack College advanced to the final of the prestigious Marriucci Tournament in Minnesota before falling to UMASS-Lowell 3-1. Merrimack advanced to the final edging Minnesota 3-2 thanks to a goal from Hampus Gustafsson.
Army split a pair of games with American International winning 4-3 and falling 3-2 in overtime. Joe Kozlak scored, while Clint Carlisle had a helper.
Robert Morris and Army will bring their teams to the state of Colorado later this month to face Air Force. Army visits Colorado Springs on Friday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 17, while Robert Morris makes it stop at the end of the month.
At the Division III level Neumann participated in the Plattsburgh State Tournament and split games. Neumann lost 5-2 to Buffalo State and then won by the same score over Colby. Forward Mike Davis earned two helpers while Dan McDougall had one.
Forward Ryan Cole had two helpers as Trinity held off Plymouth College 5-4.
Milwaukee School of Engineering blanked St. Mary's and goaltender Phil Heinle 4-0 as Omar Mullen nabbed a couple of assists.
It's a big weekend on the ice for the Amarillo Bulls as they make their first trip to Rio Grande Valley to face the Killer Bees at State Farm Arena In Hidalgo, TX. The two game set is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and fans can tune in 20 minutes before the puck is dropped with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Show.
The Bulls return to the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Jan. 16 and Saturday, Jan. 17 at 7 pm when they host the Odessa Jackalopes. Friday is The People's Federal Credit Union Bobble Head Night to the first 500 fans. Saturday is sponsored by American Classifieds and it's Western Night with free cowbells. Come out early and get photos with Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. Fans who purchase their tickets as the Bulls Office for both nights will receive a free kids meal coupon for 12 and under.
