Green Bay, Wis. - Following a five-game road trip beginning on July 4, the Green Bay Bullfrogs will return to Joannes Stadium on July 9 with a variety of promotional items.

WWE legend Jerry "The King" Lawler will be making a special guest appearance at Joannes Stadium. He won 168 championships throughout his wrestling career prior to joining WWE. Lawler is a former four-time heavyweight champion and has been an AWA World Tag-Team Champion twice.

In addition to his WWE Hall of Fame wrestling career, Lawler is currently the color commentator for WWE SmackDown and WWE pay-per-view events. He also worked as an announcer for the XFL during its lone season in 2001.

Lawler will be signing autographs from 6-6:50 p.m. before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and will resume signing for fans following the first pitch. Fans will be limited to one autograph per ticket.

Another exciting opportunity for fans in attendance is the Diamonds & Gold Diamond Dig. The first ladies through the gate will receive an ice cream scoop to use post game to dig for a diamond. Winners must redeem their prize at Diamonds & Gold in Green Bay.

In addition, July 9 is the fourth Thirsty Thursday of the season. Beers will be half price from the time gates open until the end of the fifth inning.

Game time is set for 7:05 p.m., and gates will open one hour prior to the first pitch.

Green Bay is on the road tonight against the La Crosse Loggers at 7:05 p.m. The Bullfrogs will return to Joannes Stadium on July 3 for a game against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at 7:05 p.m. with Post Game Fireworks presented by Pepsi.
