Green Bay, Wis. - After last night's lost, the Bullfrogs look to bounce back against the Battle Creek Bombers. The game did not go the way the Bullfrogs had hoped for after playing well against the Madison Mallards in the previous series. The Bullfrogs fell to the Bombers 6-2 after falling behind early.

Chad Mabini (Western Carolina) got the start for the Bullfrogs as he went five innings, giving up five runs. Mabini had some tough luck on the mound as a couple of miss-played balls by the Bullfrogs defense and weak-contact hits by the Bombers plated the five runs.

The offense was unable to take advantage of runners in scoring position as they had seven innings in which the Bullfrogs had a runner in scoring position. The Bullfrogs recorded 10 hits in the ball game but were only able to score two runs. The top of the lineup was strong for the Bullfrogs as Laren Eustace (Indiana) and Marcus Shoemaker (Lenoir Rhyne) combined for five of the Bullfrogs ten hits. Zach Biermann (Polk State) had a good ballgame as he went two for four with an RBI double.

Stuart Springer (St. Edwards) will get the start for the Bullfrogs tomorrow. Making his third start of the year, Springer currently has a 4.84 ERA and has yet to record a decision. Max Ritchie (Brown) is on the mound for the Bombers, he is currently 0-2 with a 6.90 ERA.

First pitch is 7:05 ET (6:05 CT).
