Green Bay, Wis. - The Green Bay Bullfrogs endured one of the most successful seasons in the franchise's nine-year history in the 2015 season.

On the field, the Bullfrogs totaled 41 wins and made the playoffs for the first time since 2011. In his second season in Green Bay, Field Manager Darrell Handelsman surpassed Eau Claire's Dale Varsho in career Northwoods League victories with 377 wins.

Green Bay went on a tear to end the first half of the season with an eight-game winning streak to come within a half game of the Kenosha Kingfish for first place in the South Division.

One of the exciting highlights of the season came on July 28 at Joannes Stadium. In addition to the seven former Bullfrogs who were selected in the 2015 MLB Draft in June, ace Garrett Harrison had his dream come true in his final start with the team. Following the game, Harrison was mobbed by teammates as he signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Bullfrogs finished the regular season with a 41-30 overall record, which put Green Bay into the third seed in the South Divisional Playoffs.

Green Bay played well but was defeated by the Madison Mallards in Game 1 of the playoffs, which ended the Bullfrogs' phenomenal season.

The Bullfrogs' success on the field helped contribute to the team's largest season attendance ever.

Despite two less openings, Green Bay set a franchise record in attendance with 48,175 fans with an average attendance of 1,417. The season was highlighted by two crowds of more than 2,000 fans. July 18's game saw a team record in paid attendance of 2,801 fans, and the Bullfrogs hosted 2,490 fans on the final regular season game home game on Aug. 6.

Fans at Joannes Stadium saw celebrity appearances by Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn and WWE Hall of Famers Jerry "The King" Lawler and "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.

The ZOOperstars! performed their between-inning routines twice during the season. Fans were entertained by a variety of the inflatable characters, including Shark McGwire, Tim Tebull and Ken Giraffey, Jr.

Fans had the opportunity to receive Jeremiah bobbleheads on three occasions during the season. The three bobbleheads featured the Festival Foods Cheesehead, an Aurora BayCare Medical Center Patient Jeremiah and a WFRV Local 5 Train Conductor.

The Bullfrogs will look to continue their recent success for years to come for the team as well as the fans that spend their summer evenings at historic Joannes Stadium.
