Green Bay, WI- The Green Bay Bullfrogs were defeated 8-1 by the Kenosha Kingfish on Saturday afternoon in front of a franchise-record 2,801 fans at Joannes Stadium.

The Bullfrogs dropped their second half record to 10-8 and are now 32-21 overall this season.

Green Bay manufactured a run in the third to take an early 1-0 advantage. Caleb Ratzman singled and advanced to second on his league-leading 33rd stolen base. Ratzman reached third on a sacrifice bunt by Ty Blankmeyer and scored on Logan Taylor's groundout.

Bullfrogs' starter Martinez did not allow a base runner until the fourth inning, but the Kingfish grabbed two runs and the lead. With one out, Alex Borglin walked, followed by Eric Filia's two-run home run over the right-field wall.

Martinez was activated prior to the game, making his first start for Green Bay since June 25. He pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowed two earned runs on four hits and a walk with a pair of strikeouts.

T.J. Nichting doubled with one out in the fifth and advanced to third on a fly out to centerfield hit by Zach Weigel. An error by Danny Rosenbaum allowed Nichting to score, but Bullfrogs got out of the inning with a caught stealing at home plate. Reliever Chad Dullnig threw home to Desi Ammons with Eric Filia at the plate, and Alex Borglin was tagged out to end the inning.

The Kingfish added another run in the top of the seventh. Brody Westmoreland tripled to deep centerfield and scored two batters later on a sacrifice fly to left hit by Weigel.

Kenosha added to its 4-1 lead in the eighth with three more runs. For the second consecutive inning, the Kingfish led off with a triple. This time, it was off the bat of Filia, who scored on Jeremy Vazquez's softly-hit single to shallow right-centerfield with the infield in.

Zach Ratcliff singled to score a run later in the inning, and the Kingfish extended their lead to 7-1 with Westmoreland's sacrifice fly to center.

Kenosha scored once more in the top of the ninth on a wild pitch to score Weigel.
