HOUSTON, TX - Brian Willsie led the Hamilton Bulldogs past the Houston Aeros, scoring the equalizer and winner in the 3-2 overtime victory.

Chad Rau scored his twelfth of the season, floating the puck over Bulldogs netminder Robert Mayer's shoulder just 1:10 into the first period to give Houston an early 1-0 lead. But the 'Dogs took it right back 2:52 later when Philippe Lefebvre scored his fifth of the season, breaking a four-game pointless streak and a 22-game goalless streak, to tie the game at 1.

Aeros goaltender Matt Hackett made 14 saves in a scoreless second period, while Mayer turned away 7 pucks in that span.

Then, just 1:24 into the third period, Nick Palmieri gave the Aeros a 2-1 lead with a cross-slot backhand shot. But Willsie would tie the game at 2 with a power play goal at 10:48 in the third period, shoving his own rebound into the far side of the net. Robert Mayer earned an assist on the play, as did Philip DeSimone.

Willsie unleashed a slapshot at 2:02 into sudden death overtime to lead the Bulldogs to a 3-2 win over the Aeros. Hamilton outshot Houston 34-23 in the game.
