HAMILTON, ONTARIO. Hamilton Bulldogs President & General Manager, Steve Staios announced today the signing of 2022 3rd Round Selection (63rd overall), Callum Cheynowski to a Standard Players Agreement.
Cheynowski, a Welland, ON native, arrives in Hamilton following a tremendous season of development for the offensively gifted defenseman in 2021- 22. Cheynowski, 5'11" 177lbs, broke out with the Souther Tier Admirals U16 AAA with 6 goals & 7 assists for 13 points in 17 games and continued to get better. An outstanding 6 goals & 6 assists for 12 points in 8 playoffs games followed while also starring with the Thorold Blackhawks of the GOJHL posting 4 points in 5 games at the junior level, leading the team in points-per-game by a defenseman.
