Brantford Bulldogs News Release
HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs closed out the home portion of their regular season schedule with a 4-0 loss to the Sudbury Wolves Saturday at FirstOntario Centre.
The Bulldogs out-shot the opposition 16-9 in the 1st period, but Sudbury led 1-0 thanks to an early power-play goal.
That theme continued in the 2nd as again Hamilton dominated the shot clock 14-5 but trailed 3-0 with shots on goal after forty minutes 30-14 in favour of the Black and Gold.
The Bulldogs kept the pressure up in the 3rd period, but the Wolves scored into the empty net to make the final 4-0 as Sudbury goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen picked up his 6th shut-out of the season despite the shot-clock reading 41-20 Hamilton.
