
Bulldogs Offense Explodes for 9-3 Win in Ottawa

HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs wrapped up the weekend with a convincing 9-3 win Saturday afternoon in Ottawa.
The Bulldogs offense got off to a quick start as Matthew Strome (28) scored short-handed early to make it 1-0. Mackenzie Entwistle (6) tipped one home less than two minutes later to make it 2-0. Ottawa got on the board to cut the lead to 2-1 only to see Hamilton score again as Arthur Kaliyev (18) upped the lead to 3-1 at the end of the 1st period.
The Black and Gold got the only goal of the 2nd period as Brandon Saigeon (25) poked a loose puck over the goal line to make it 4-1.
The Bulldogs blew the game open in the 3rd period by outscoring the 67's 5-2. Gloucester native Will Bitten (14, 15, 16) led the way with a hat-trick with singles from Marian Studenic (14) and the second of the game from Arthur Kaliyev (19).

The Bulldogs are back in action Friday January 26th in Erie before returning home on Saturday January 27th at 4 pm when they play host to the Oshawa Generals at FirstOntario Centre.
