HAMILTON, ONT. - Hamilton Bulldogs President Steve Staios announced today that Jeff Elia has been named as the organization's new Senior Director of Business Development.
Jeff spent the past three seasons working with the Bulldogs as the Director of Corporate Partnerships and has been instrumental in the growth of new business and corporate relationships. In 2014 when the Bulldogs were members of the American Hockey League, Jeff's team was recognized as the top Corporate Sales department for its increase in sales that season.
"We are thrilled to have Jeff accept this integral role with the Hamilton Bulldogs organization,"Â stated Staios. "Jeff's extensive experience within the hockey industry, in both sales and corporate partnerships, as well as his dedication to the community and strong leadership skills are valuable assets for the Bulldogs."
Jeff's experience in the sports and hockey industry extends back 14 years following his graduation from Laurentian University's Commerce and Sports Administration program. His professional experience in the sports and hockey industry includes working in the corporate sales department with the Mississauga IceDogs (now the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League) and Managing Advertising Sales at Brampton's Powerade Centre.
