
Bulldogs Look to Win Conference Semi-Finals Tonight

The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to win their AHL Eastern Conference Semi-final series tonight as they take on the Manitoba Moose in Game #5 at the Winnipeg Arena.
The Bulldogs took a 3-1 series lead on Sunday afternoon, as they defeated the Moose 6-2 in Winnipeg. Veteran forward Bill Lindsay led Hamilton offensively, as he recorded his first professional hat trick in the contest. The victory also marked the Bulldogs' third consecutive playoff road win.

BULLDOGS PLAYOFF NOTES:
· JANI RITA became the Bulldogs all-time leading goal scorer in the post-season when he scored at the 17:26 mark of the second overtime of Game #3 in Manitoba. Rita has 11 career playoff goals and now surpasses former Bulldogs Joe Hulbig and Jeff Daw, who each had 10 goals in the post-season, respectively.
· MIKE KOMISAREK is currently tied with Houston's Stephane Veilleux for the top plus/minus rating in the 2003 Calder Cup Playoffs with a (+7) rating
· TONY SALMELAINEN recorded his first three assists of the playoffs in Sunday's 6-2 win over Manitoba. Salmelainen is now tied with seven other AHL players for most assists in a single 2003 playoff game.
THE OFFENSE CONTINUES ...
The Hamilton Bulldogs led the AHL in total goals, assists and points in the regular season, and they are now continuing that trend in the post-season. The Bulldogs have recorded the most goals (27), assists (46) and points (73) in the playoffs thus far.
POST SEASON OVERTIME SUCCESS:
The Hamilton Bulldogs have earned a record of (2-0) when going into overtime in this season's playoffs. All-time the Bulldogs have posted 11 wins and 5 losses (.688) in 16 overtime contests.
BULLDOGS HOLDING THE LEAD:
The Bulldogs are (4-0) in the 2003 Calder Cup Playoffs when âscoring the first goal of the game', âwhen leading after one period' and âwhen leading after two periods'
BULLDOGS HISTORY IN SECOND ROUND SERIES:
The Bulldogs have played five âSecond Round' series in franchise history, and have won two of those series.
