Bulldogs lead series 3-2 after Falling to Moose

The Hamilton Bulldogs lost a close 3-1 decision to the Manitoba Moose in Game #5 of their AHL Eastern Conference series on Monday night at the Winnipeg Arena. The Bulldogs lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. Game #6 will take place on Thursday, May 8th at Copps Coliseum at 7:00 p.m.

Scoring the lone Bulldogs' goal on the night was defenceman Kari Haakana at the 9:17 mark of the third period on the power play. The goal was Haakana's first of the post-season. Earning assists on the Bulldogs goal were Marc-Andre Bergeron and Benoit Gratton.

Pat Kavanagh led the way offensively for the Moose scoring two goals on the night. Justin Morrison had the other Moose goal.

In goal Ty Conklin made 22 saves for the Bulldogs. Tyler Moss, the game's first star, stopped 27 of 28 shots for Manitoba.

The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to end their AHL Eastern Conference Semi-Final series as they host the Manitoba Moose in Game #6 on Thursday, May 8th at Copps Coliseum.
