
Bulldogs Home Opener Set for Oct. 9th at Copps Coliseum

HAMILTON, ON. - Hamilton Bulldogs President and Governor Glenn Stanford announced today six guaranteed home games for the 2009-2010 season. The Bulldogs home opener will take place on Friday, October 9th, 2009 at Copps Coliseum.
The âDogs will also play at Copps Coliseum next season on the following five guaranteed dates: - Friday, October 16th, 2009
- Friday, November 6th, 2009 (In Montreal at Bell Centre)
- Saturday November 14th, 2009
- Monday, December 28th, 2009
- Friday, January 15th, 2010
Opponents and start times for these games are to be determined. The Bulldogs, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, will release their entire 2009-2010 regular season schedule later this summer. All opponents and start times will be made available at that time.
In operation since 1936, the AHL continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams. More than 84 percent of today's NHL players are American Hockey League graduates, and for the eighth year in a row, more than 6 million fans attended AHL games across North America in 2008-2009.
