Bulldogs Announce Training Camp, Preseason Schedule

The Hamilton Bulldogs will open their eighth American Hockey League training camp on Monday, September 22nd (2:00 p.m.) at Chedoke Twin Pad Arena in Hamilton. On-ice practice sessions are open to the public and will run from Monday, September 22nd until Tuesday, Sept. 30th.

"We hope Bulldogs fans will take advantage of the open practices and watch the outstanding prospects," said president Steve Katzman. "We are excited about the fact that players will be coming from our parent club, the Montreal Canadiens."

The Hamilton Bulldogs will play in five preseason games prior to the 2003-04 regular season. Hamilton will open the preseason schedule on the road with their first-ever match-up against the Toronto Roadrunners at Beatrice Ice Gardens, at York University in Toronto, on Friday, September 26th (7:00 p.m.)

The Bulldogs will play one preseason game on home-ice, as the Roadrunners make their very first visit to Copps Coliseum on Sunday, September 28th (6:00 p.m.). This game will also feature the Bulldogs in their new 'red jerseys.' Bulldogs' Season Ticket Holders and 10-Pack Holders will be admitted to this contest free of charge. All other individual tickets for the Sept. 28th preseason game are available for $10 at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling Ticketmaster at (905) 527-7666.

The Bulldogs will conclude their preseason schedule by traveling east to take on the St. John's Maple Leafs at three different locations in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Bulldogs will face the Maple Leafs in Corner Brook on Oct. 2 (6:00 p.m. ET), Gander on Oct. 3 (6:00 p.m. ET) and St. John's on Oct. 5 (12:30 p.m. ET).
