
Bulldogs Announce Front Office Staffing Changes

In preparation for the 2008-2009 American Hockey League season, their 13th in the City of Hamilton, Bulldogs President and Governor Glenn Stanford announced three front office staffing changes today.
Paul Giordano has been appointed Director of Brand Marketing. Born and raised in Hamilton and currently residing in Ancaster, Giordano spent the last two seasons as the organization's Director of Corporate Sales. In this new position, the 41-year-old will be responsible for building the Hamilton Bulldogs brand in the corporate community.
Aaron Gogishvili has been named Director of the Bulldogs Foundation. Prior to this promotion, Gogishvili, 25, toiled for two seasons as the hockey club's Communications Coordinator. In his new role, the Hamilton native and resident will be responsible for all aspects of the Bulldogs Foundation including all community initiatives and educational programs.
The team will name a new Communications Coordinator prior to the start of the 2008-2009 season. Andrew Staios has been hired as the âDogs Digital Media Coordinator. Staios returns to the organization after spending the last six months as a Hamilton Bulldogs Ticket Sales Representative for Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities Inc. (H.E.C.F.I.). In this newly-formed position, the 22-year-old, who was born and raised in Hamilton and now resides in Ancaster, will be working with all aspects of digital media, including hamiltonbulldogs.com and âDogs TV.
Currently in its 72nd season of play, the AHL continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams. More than 83 percent of today's NHL players are American Hockey League graduates, and more than 6 million fans have attended AHL games across North America in each of the past six seasons.
