Bulldogs announce anthem singer contest

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced the first "Hamilton Bulldogs Anthem Superstar" contest presented by CH Television.

Auditions will take place Saturday, October 2nd at Copps Coliseum at 11am sharp. Registration will take place at 10:30 am. Auditions will be on a first come first serve basis. Please enter through the Media/Security entrance on Bay Street, beside the Box office. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Potential candidates will be asked to sing the Canadian National anthem and a song of their choice (both acapella).

The judges will select the top 5 finalists and portions of their respective audition tapes will be shown on CH Morning Live and www.hamiltonbulldogs.com beginning Tuesday, October 5th.

The winner will be determined by fan voting on www.hamiltonbulldogs.com. Voting will close at 5pm on Thursday, October 14th.

The winner of the first "Hamilton Bulldogs Anthem Superstar" will be announced live on Friday, October 15th on CH Morning Live. The winner will have the opportunity to sing the Canadian national anthem at the Bulldogs Home Opener against the Manitoba Moose on Sunday, October 17th at 4pm.

The "Hamilton Bulldogs Anthem Superstar" will also win:

- CH prize pack

- Bulldogs Jersey and hat

- 6 tickets to the October 17th Bulldogs game

- pair of Bulldogs Season Tickets courtesy of Queenston Chev Olds

- Hair Cut and Style from Maddison Avenue Hair and Body
