Bucs acquire additional veteran help

The Des Moines Buccaneers added another USHL veteran to their line-up Wednesday after acquiring forward Jeff Hazelwood from the Green Bay Gamblers. In exchange for Hazelwood, the Buccaneers traded first-year forward Joe Long to Green Bay.

Hazelwood is in his second season of his USHL career, which he began with the Gamblers last season. The Dublin, CA native collected 32 points in his first season, on thirteen goals and nineteen assists. He proved to be a solid power play scorer, picking up six of his thirteen goals with a man advantage. So far this season, Hazelwood has two points, with one goal and one assist.
