Bucks' Ruskowski Golfs With Legend Arnold Palmer

LATROBE, PA- Laredo Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski took part in a once-in-a-lifetime experience last week when he played 18-holes of golf with the legendary Arnold Palmer at Latrobe Country Club.
"To be on the course at the same time as Arnold Palmer was an absolute thrill for me," Ruskowski said. "I have always admired Arnold and what he has done, not only for the game of golf, but for charities, the military, and school kid's. He's truly one of a kind, and i'm honored to have had this experience."
Ruskowski's wife Carol won the round of golf with Palmer in a contest through her employer. After the round of golf the Ruskowski's attended a banquet at the country club, which Palmer has been sole owner of since 1971.
Palmer, who is a member of three major golf Halls of Fame, is considered one of the greatest golfer's of all-time, having amassed 92 overall victories, including seven major Championships. Palmer is a two-time PGA Player of the Year, taking home the honors in both 1960 and 1962.
In 2004 Palmer received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush at a White House ceremony. He has received virtually every national award in golf.
Ruskowski is an avid golfer and has won numerous golf tournaments, including several in Laredo.
The Bucks will start their eighth season in the Gateway City in October, and will host the 2010 CHL All-Star game January 13th. Season tickets start at under $6.50 per game. Call 718-BUCK (2825) to order.

Bucks Season Ticket Holders can now receive a ten percent discount on their season tickets if they reserve their seats for the 2009-10, and 2010-11 campaigns. With the two-year agreement season ticket holders will receive a 10% discount each year, and can spread their payments out over 24 months.
