Laredo Bucks News Release

LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Bucks made their final training camp cuts today to trim the roster to 18 players as required by the Central Hockey League. Forwards Bill Zalba, and Caleb Moffat, along with defenseman Scott English were placed on waivers.

"We had a lot of young guys in here looking for jobs," said head coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski. "We had some hard decisions to make, but they had to be made."

The Bucks worked hard in the off season to strengthen their roster.

"I think we are going to be stronger on defense," said Ruskowski. "We added some good defenseman to this year's team."

The Bucks complete 18 man roster is listed below.

PRACTICE TIMES

The Bucks will not skate on Thursday. Laredo will leave for Corpus Christi on Friday morning so they can skate in the afternoon at Memorial Coliseum in preparation for Saturday night's game.
