The Bucks have dominated the Jackalopes through the first two games of the best of seven series, having outscored Odessa by a combined 10-5, while outshooting them 90-41.

Laredo took game two Monday night 6-3, with four of their goals coming via the power-play. The Bucks received contributions from a number of players Monday night, as six Bucks tallied two or more points in the game. Chris Stanley scored two goals, with Serge Dube (0-4=4), Adam Rivet (1-2=3), James Hiebert (1-2=3), Jeff Bes (1-1=2), and Alex Goupil (1-1=2) leading the way for Laredo.

Through the first two games of the series Rivet leads the way for Laredo with six points (2-4=6), while James Hiebert (1-4=5), and Serge Dube (0-4=4) have put up two solid games as well. Dustin Traylen has won both games in net for Laredo, stopping 24 shots in game one, and 14 in game two. The Bucks have not yet announced their goaltender for Wednesday's game three.

Although the Bucks are 35-9 at home all-time in the playoffs, they have struggled on the road in the postseason, going just 18-20. Laredo went 0-1-1 in Odessa during the '07-08 regular season. Laredo knows Odessa plays much better at home than on the road. The ‘Jacks are 2-0 at home in the postseason, and 0-3 on the road.

The Jackalopes return home looking to re-group and try to cut the Bucks series lead in half. If it weren't for Alexandre Vincent the Bucks may have won games one and two more convincingly. Vincent was peppered in net in the first two games, setting aside 80 of 90 Laredo shots combined.

If the ‘Jacks are going to get back in the series they need to get more offense from their big guns, Dominic Leveille, and Sebastien Thinel. During the regular season the duo combined for 164 points (66-98=164). During games one and two against the Bucks, Leveille and Thinel have registered just three points (0-3=3) between the two.

Odessa has been hurt by penalties in the first two games, as they have been in the box for 48 minutes in games one and two combined, compared to the Bucks 36. The Bucks have cashed in thus far going 5-18 on the power-play in the series so far.

The two teams will have an off day in the series Thursday, before playing game four on Friday night in Odessa. Game five if necessary will also be in Odessa Saturday night.
