LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks and Allen Americans will play game five of their 2010 Central Hockey League Southern Conference semifinals series Saturday night at Laredo Energy Arena. Game time is 7:30pm. The best of seven series is tied at two games apiece. The Family Four Pack is available; get four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $48. The Bucks tied the series at two games apiece with a huge 4-3 win Thursday night in Laredo. Pier Pelletier stopped 37 shots and Todd Griffith scored two goals to lead Laredo to the win.
Laredo's offense awoke Thursday night matching their series high goal total of four. The Bucks also scored four goals in a 4-3 victory in game one.
After scoring four goals in game one of the series the Bucks offense struggled as they scored just three times in games two and three combined.
The Bucks scored their first power-play goals of the series Thursday night as they went two-for-six with the man advantage. Both the Bucks and Americans are two-for-21 on the power-play in the series.
The Bucks have a 9-6 record all-time in game five of a playoff series.
Todd Griffith leads the Bucks in playoff scoring with six points (4-24) while Nino Musitelli (2-35), Justin Bowers (2-35) and Bruce Graham (1-45) pace the Americans with five points apiece.
