Northern Conference Finals Set – Rush Take On Mudbugs

The Northern Conference Finals are set in the quest for the Ray Miron President's Cup as the Northern Conference Champion Rapid City Rush will meet the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in a best-of-7 series beginning in Rapid City on Saturday, April 10 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena.

The Rush make the conference finals in just their second season as a franchise while the Mudbugs have advanced to the conference finals six times and have made five trips to the league finals (WPHL/CHL) winning three straight WPHL Championships (1999, 2000, 2001).

The two teams are fresh off impressive performances in the conference semifinals with both teams accomplishing sweeps of their opponents with the Mudbugs besting the Colorado Eagles and the Rush taking care of the Missouri Mavericks.

The Mudbugs won two of the three regular season match-ups with two of the three contests going past regulation (one decided in overtime, one decided in a shootout).
