Series Updates
Rush Look for Sweep
The Rapid City Rush are in a position to sweep the Missouri Mavericks and secure a spot alongside Bossier-Shreveport in the Northern Conference Finals. Rapid City has two cracks to end their semifinals series with the Mavs on home ice as they host Missouri on Friday in Game Four and Saturday in Game Five. Should it be necessary, the teams will head back to Missouri for Game Six on Monday. Les Reaney has led the scoring for the Rush in the series with two goals and four helpers.

3- The number of goals that Rush goaltender Danny Battochio has allowed in the three games. The CHL Rookie of the Year has stopped 101 of 104 shots, good for a .971 save percentage.
8-0- The Rush's record versus the Mavericks this season including the regular season. Rapid City went 5-0 in the regular season and are 3-0 in the post-season.
1 for 16- The Mavericks with the man advantage in the series as Brett Hammond has accounted for the lone power play goal. Rapid City has as many shorthanded goals as the Mavs have PPG's.
Mudbugs Take Care of Eagles
The 'Bugs gained a measure of revenge on the Eagles on Thursday night when they completed the four-game sweep of the three-time defending Northern Conference Champions. The Mudbugs allowed just nine goals in the four games to the Colorado offense that led the CHL during the regular season averaging 4.33 goals per game. Ken Carroll, forced into action with the injury in Game Two to John DeCaro, won all three decisions he earned in the series stopping close to 94% of the shots he faced.

8- The number of Mudbugs who scored goals in the four game series showing the offensive balance this team has. Travis Clayton, Shawn Limpright and David Pszenyczny each led the way with three goals.
+5- The series leading +/- total of Mudbugs forward Joe Blaznek who finished the series with two goals and two assists.
5- The number of power play goals scored and allowed by the Mudbugs in their four-game series with the Eagles. More than half of the Colorado scores came with the man advantage.
Jacks Look for Repeat of Last Season's Semi's
After Wednesday's 6-3 win at Texas, the Odessa Jackalopes have themselves in position to pull off a repeat of last year's semifinals comeback versus Laredo where the Jacks dropped their first two games on home ice and then came back to win four straight games against the Bucks. Odessa plays Game Four on Friday night in Texas and then returns home for Game Five on Saturday night at the Ector County Coliseum. The loss Wednesday for the Brahmas was their first in the semifinals round of the post-season in the past two plus seasons as they had won 10 straight.
TEX/ODE By the Numbers:
8-1- The post-season record of second year goaltender Juha Toivonen (ODE). Last season, the then rookie went 7-1 with a pair of shutouts. His first action in this year's playoffs came in Wednesday's victory against Texas.
15-3- The home record of the Texas Brahmas in the playoffs since 2008. Texas has never lost more than one home game in the post-season in each of the past two post-seasons.
9- The league-leading point total of Texas' Jordan Cameron who has two goals and seven assists in the playoffs thus far. Teammate Tyler Skworchinski is tied for second in playoff scoring with six points (4-2=6)
Bucks and Americans Remain Even
The Laredo Bucks and Allen Americans are all tied up after four games with the teams each going 1-1 on the other's home ice. The pivotal game in the series could be Saturday's Game Five which is the final home game in the series for the Bucks. Game's Six and Seven will be at Allen on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. So far, three of the four games have been decided by one goal.

4- The number of goals that Todd Griffith has scored in the playoffs netting two goals and the game winner in Thursday's win by Laredo. During the regular season, Griffith scored 12 goals in 33 games.
3- The number of goals that Allen defenseman Erik Adams has scored topping his regular season total of two goals scored by one. Adams. Coming into this year's playoffs, Adams had score three post-season goals in 43 games.
4 for 42- The combined showing on the power play for the two teams as both clubs are 2 for 21 on the series.
