Bucks Activate Monych From IR, Release Sgroi

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Thursday that they have activated Lance Monych from the 14-day IR, and have released forward Mike Sgroi. Monych is expected to return to the line-up Friday when the Bucks host Missouri.

Monych has missed the Bucks last six games with a lower-body injury.

The 25-year-old Monych has 10 points (4-610) in 14 games with the Bucks this season, including a six-game point streak from October 16th-November 1st.

**SGROI RELEASED**

The Bucks also announced Thursday that they have released forward Mike Sgroi.

The 31-year-old Sgroi joined the Bucks November 4th, and put up three points (1-23) and 15 PIM's in 14 games this season.

**BUCKS TO DELIVER TOYS DEC. 14TH**

The Bucks, in conjunction with Doctors Hospital, collected 157 toys for their annual toy drive at Saturday's (Dec 5th) game at the Laredo Entertainment Center.

Bucks players and front office staff members will deliver the toys to the pediatric cancer patients at Doctors Hospital on December 14th.

You can still drop a new, unwrapped toy off at the Bucks offices in the LEC in time for the delivery on December 14th. Call 718-BUCK (2825) for more information.
