
Bruiser to Visit Howard Elementary School

Bruiser, the mascot of the 2006 American Conference Champion Green Bay Blizzard, will be visiting the students and staff of Howard Elementary School in Green Bay on Tuesday, February 5, 2007. The Green Bay Blizzard is going into the second year of an incentive-based reading program within the area elementary schools. This program is set up to help promote literacy in Northeast Wisconsin and to spread the word to students about how much fun reading is. This year, there are over 1,500 students involved in the reading program.
The Green Bay Blizzard and Bruiser will be at Howard Elementary Tuesday morning to jumpstart Bruiser's Reading Club within the school. A member of the staff and Bruiser will be there from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
