Renegades Host Open Tryouts Saturday

LUBBOCK, TX: February 5, 2007 - The inaugural Lubbock Renegades of the arenafootball2 (af2) will conduct open tryouts Saturday, February 10th at Lubbock's Monterey High School.
The tryouts begin Saturday at 10 AM with registration. Attendees should be prepared to be tested on the 40-yard dash, short shuttle and the pro agility drill. There will also be position drills along with one-on-one and three-on-three drills. Registration fee is $50 and appropriate workout gear should be worn along with football cleats for grass surfaces.
Monterey High School will host the event, which is located at 3211 47th. Street. Individuals seeking additional information about the tryouts may contact Renegades Head Coach Rodney Blackshear at 806-744-5858. The Renegades kick off their inaugural campaign April 6th on the road in Amarillo. Their home opener is scheduled for a 3 PM kickoff on Sunday, April 15th at City Bank Coliseum against the Arkansas Twisters.
