(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are proudly announcing that Offensive/Defensive Lineman Beau Elliott has been assigned to the Pioneers' 2007 roster. The 6'3, 320 lb. lineman returns hopeful, with high expectations for the upcoming season.
"After talking with Coach Ingold, this season looks promising with the wide range of talent, both from new and returning players, overall bringing a bright future to the Pioneers Organization."
Elliott, who began his af2 career with the Pioneers just last season, made a significant impact as an offensive leader. His continued affiliation with the Pioneers marks a promising step toward a successful 2007 season.
Elliott, who turned 24 this January, was a three year starter for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Beau played in 32 of 34 games during his career at IUP, gaining a long list of honors along the way. He was selected IUP's Freshman of the Year, becoming the second offensive linemen to ever win the award. With a recorded 23 pancakes, Elliott concluded his collegiate career by qualifying for the First Team All Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
