Austin Bruins News Release
The Austin Bruins continued the series against the defending Central Division Champion Bismarck Bobcats. The first period the Bruins dominated the pace and outshot Bismarck 12-9. Colton Kramer added his fourth goal in three games assisting was Connor Quinn and John Kirby. After the first intermission the Bruins lead the Bobcats 1-0. The second period the Bruins continued to create offensively. Tommy Burke was able to hold down the crease for the Bobcats and escape the period unscathed. After two periods of play the Bruins lead 1-0. The final period of play the Bruins continued to outwork the defending Central Division Champions. At the beginning of the frame the Bruins were able to kill of a double minor penalty. Nolan Kirley than made the score 2-0, assists went to John Simonson and Trevor Waldoch. The Bruins added a third goal when Grant Williams put the puck in an empty net. The Bruins pick up the victory 3-0, Nick Lehr was credited with the shutout as he stopped 38 pucks.
