Bruins reassign four players

Chilliwack Bruins News Release


The Chilliwack Bruins announced today that defenceman Mitch Topping (Red Deer, AB), goaltender Cole Holowenko (Penticton, BC) and forward Tim Traber (Quesnel, BC) have been reassigned to their respective midget teams. All three are 1993 born players who are eligible to play a maximum of five games with the Bruins this season prior to the end of their respective midget team's season.

The Bruins have also reassigned 16 year old goaltender Luke Siemens (Delta, BC) to the Summerland Sting of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. Siemens was a 7th round pick by the Bruins in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.

With these moves the Bruins now have 29 players remaining in camp, 18 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders.
