Austin Bruins News Release
RECAP/PREVIEW: After a tough three game series versus the Minnesota Wilderness which saw the Bruins take only one game, the team regrouped on Friday, January 4th with a victory on the road against the Brookings Blizzard. Ian Mageau redirected a Dante Sheriff shot to earn the win for the Bruins 3-2 in Brookings. On Saturday, the team wouldn't be so fortuitous as they couldn't find the back of the net even once - getting shut out by the Blizzard 2-0.
Up next for the Bruins is two straight home games against the division leading - Aberdeen Wings. The Wings come into this weekends pair of contests toting a 12-game win streak and are easily the hottest team in the league. It will be a clash of titans on Riverside Arena ice this weekend.
