
Wilderness Sweep Minotauros in First Series of 2019

CLOQUET, MN - The Wilderness swept the Minot Minotauros in their first series of 2019.
Friday's game at Northwoods Credit Union Arena ended 4-3 with goals from #10 Nick Portz, #8 Nate Horn, #25 Brandon McNamara, & #14 Dylan Johnson.
Saturday's game was played at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center, ending 5-3. #14 Dylan Johnson found the back of the net twice in the first period, posting 3 goals on the weekend.
#15 Jack Suchy and #8 Nate Horn netted Power Play goals for the Wilderness, giving the Wilderness a one-goal lead in the third period.
#18 Oula Kuure sealed the win with an open-netter in the last minute of regulation. Wilderness won 5-3.
The Wilderness will travel to Minot on Jan 11th and 12th to face the Minotauros in another back to back series.
We will be back on home ice at Northwoods Credit Union Arena on January 18th and 19th, against the Brookings Blizzard.
