
Bruins Earn 2-1 Victory

Austin Bruins News Release
The Austin Bruins completed action this weekend at Riverside Arena against the Aberdeen Wings. The opening frame was back and forth action as expected. Illya Arkalov scored an unassisted goal that put the Bruins up 1-0. At the first intermission the Bruins led 1-0 n had outshot the Wings 11-10. The middle frame the Bruins continued to get looks on net but Hunter Liesner continued to shut the door for the Wings. At the end of two periods of play Austin outshot Aberdeen 24-14. The Bruins added their second of the game as Michael Bond scored the first goal of his NAHL career assisting was Colton Kramer. The Wings added one before the end of the third. The Bruins continued to pepper Liesner with pucks in the third frame. Austin finished the night with 36 shots on net and a 2-1 victory.
