Chilliwack Bruins News Release
The Chilliwack Bruins announced today that they have acquired 17 year old defenceman Zach Habscheid from the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for their fourth round selection in the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
In 42 games with Swift Current of the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League last season, the 6'4 195 lb blueliner scored five goals, 13 assists and added 166 minutes in penalties.
Habscheid was originally selected by Swift Current in the 9th round of the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.
Bruins training camp begins August 20th.
