
Bruins Announce Schedule Change

Providence, RI -- The Providence Bruins, member of the American Hockey League, announced today that their game against the Portland Pirates originally scheduled for Friday, October 21st at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, February 22 at 7:05 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The move was made to accommodate a major concert the Dunkin' Donuts Center will be hosting that weekend.
"We made a determination that although we are losing a Friday night game, the Dunkin' Donuts Center would greatly benefit from this prestigious major concert," said Providence Bruins Team Co-President Matt Poore. "Ultimately, the successful partnership we have with the Dunkin' Donuts Center management stems from working with each other to help do what's in the building's best interest."
The 2005-06 season opens up at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday, October 14th at 7:05 p.m. against the Pirates.
